Before chasing a fight, decide whether your squad is taking ground, building a safe return point or moving toward the next zone. A simple call gives everyone the same first objective.
The official win condition is the first team to 100 points. Treat the zone as the source of momentum: contest when you have a route and disengage when the fight is only feeding another team time.
Community base advice consistently starts with the FOB, the logistics lane and layered defenses. Build for resupply and approach control, not for a beautiful bunker that strands the team.
The current community tip sheet calls out fuel, a wrench and a resuscitator. Keep the vehicle useful by carrying the recovery answer before the first emergency, not after it.
One current player tip highlights moving specialist items into backpack quickslots 4–9. Set up the muscle memory early so the item choice does not cost the squad a decision in a hot zone.
The official listing gives players a $10,000 starting budget. Spend the opening money on the tool that improves the next rotation, then preserve enough capacity to recover after a bad engagement.
WARDOGS supports local voice. Call the direction of pressure, the state of the FOB and the next movement in plain language; the best comms are the ones a moving squad can act on immediately.
Launch-week tactics are provisional. Official rules belong in the core guide; player-tested shortcuts belong in the community pulse with a date so the page can evolve without pretending certainty.
LAUNCH READ
The opening advantage is information. Three teams are contesting a randomized Control Zone, so the best first move is the one that gives your squad a better next move: a safe route, a stocked FOB, a useful vehicle or a clean rotation.
This is a launch edition. Numbers, weapon priorities and community shorthand will change as more matches land. We keep the source, the date and the confidence visible.

Official rules first. Community tactics next. Unknowns stay marked until a match proves them.
Up to 100 players, three teams, randomized 2×2 km Control Zones, vehicles, logistics and local voice.
REDDIT / DAILY TIPSThe community is already cataloguing friend joins, tower weapon spawns, quickslots and pilot survival habits.
REDDIT / BASE GUIDEThe early base meta is about protection, layered defenses and leaving the logistics route usable for the whole team.
Core rules are based on the official Steam listing. Tactics marked community pulse come from public Reddit posts and should be re-tested after patches.
