Start in the browser tab that matches the room you want. Official and Community servers are separate in Patch 0.11, so a search in one list will not surface the other list.

Patch 0.11 changes how the list works. Pick the server type, filter the room, then give your squad a stable way to find it again.

Use the browser as a decision tool. The fastest join is the one that leaves the whole squad with the same server identity.
Search Community servers
Open the Community list when you are looking for a hosted room. Use the server-name search and filters to narrow the list before you commit to a join.
Use Empty and Full as quick filters
The new quick controls are useful when a squad wants an open room or wants to avoid a server that has already filled. Recheck the list just before joining because the player count can move.
Share the persistent server ID
Community server IDs persist longer after Patch 0.11. Share the ID with your squad when you want everyone to search for the same room instead of relying on a moving name or list position.
Use Host only when you are hosting
The announcement adds a Host button for the Community flow. If you are joining someone else, search for their room or use your normal Steam join path instead of creating a new server.

Confirm the browser state first
Patch 0.11 provides separate Official and Community lists, name search, filters, and Empty and Full controls. Open the Community list, note the active search and filter state, then refresh before treating an empty panel as a connection failure.
Use a shared ID as a diagnostic
A post-patch Steam report says a player could join with a valid Community Server ID while their Community list stayed empty. If a trusted squadmate has a current ID, trying it can separate a discovery problem from a connection problem. It does not prove that every ID will work or that the browser is fixed.
Recheck the filter sliders and regions
In a later reply, the same player reported that the list returned after manually moving the filter sliders, especially the minimum and maximum cash/reward values, and selecting European regions instead of the automatic option. They could not tell which change helped. Note your current settings, change one filter or region selection at a time, then refresh. Kingy has not reproduced this recovery; it may not resolve your case.
Do not stack unverified fixes
The same report says cache clearing, file verification and reinstalling did not restore that player’s list. No official repair is documented here. Avoid copying BIOS, security, configuration-file or download changes from comments while you are still identifying the symptom.
Report the exact state
Include the client build, region, selected server list, search text, filter and Empty/Full state, time of the attempt, visible error, and whether a valid ID joined. That gives support a reproducible browser or connection case instead of a general “no servers” report.

Official and Community are separate
Choose the correct server category before searching. Community discovery now has its own name and filter controls.
Community IDs persist longer
Use the ID as the squad’s shared reference. It is more dependable than telling everyone to click the same moving row.
The cash bonus is temporary
The announcement describes a 5% end-of-match cash bonus on Community servers for the following week. Treat the window as time-limited, not as a permanent rule.
Do not farm exploits
Cash exploits were addressed. The official policy says exploit abuse can bring bans and cash/XP resets, and XP-farming servers are not a safe shortcut.
Patch 0.11 browser changes come from the official Steam announcement. The empty-list branch is a dated Steam player report, not a support fix. Favorites, priority queues, MOTD, warmup, AFK and team-switch controls remain future community-server work until BULKHEAD announces them as live.
