Spoiler Shield

See details appear as you complete checkpoints.

Try an early checkpoint, then finish the demo. Watch eligible examples appear while later details stay covered. Switch between simulated wiki, video, forum and search pages.

Synthetic demo. Every example is invented. It demonstrates progress-based reveals inside the demo. It does not recognize or block real-game spoilers, or protect external websites.

Try it in three steps

  1. Open the demo. The invented details start covered.
  2. Choose “I finished the early checkpoint.” Early examples appear; later and mixed examples stay covered.
  3. Finish all checkpoints, or reset protection. Unreviewed and unclassified examples stay covered throughout.

Progress stays in this browser. If browser storage is unavailable, the demo still works for the current visit. Tabs simulate other websites; they do not connect to them.

What this demonstrates

The existing checkpoint rules decide which already-classified examples can appear. An item containing both an early and a later detail waits until both checkpoints are complete.

The demo uses invented text and makes no model API calls. It contains no private real-game dictionaries.

Before real-game protection

Live-site detection still needs useful game coverage, testing for missed spoilers and unnecessary blocks, and reliable handling of new or edited cards. Normal browser-store installation is a separate release step.

This demonstration does not establish how well a future extension will protect a real playthrough.

Developer download and local extension testing

The existing desktop Chrome ZIP remains available for testing the synthetic extension. This optional developer workflow requires Python 3.9 or newer, a terminal and Chrome Developer mode.

Download the developer demo ZIP · 43 KB · v0.2.0 · ZIP checksum

  1. Extract the ZIP and open a terminal in the extracted folder.
  2. Run python3 verify-bundle.py, then python3 launch-demo.py. On Windows use py -3.
  3. In chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, select Load unpacked and choose the extracted unpacked folder.
  4. Open the local address printed by the launcher. The bundled README explains checkpoints, reset and removal.

The local extension matches invented phrases on its bundled fixture pages. It has no telemetry, cloud sync or model API. Real-game dictionaries and live-site protection are not included.
