Enter the active Control Zone and watch the team population indicators. The official match target is 100 points. The smaller Hot Zone adds an incentive to concentrate players inside the larger objective.
Before you start
- The current match map and objective overlay.
- Your team color and the score indicators.
What the developer documents
Three teams compete within randomized Control Zones. The team with the most players in the zone earns points; the first to 100 wins. The official description advertises double cash in the Hot Zone. It does not publish a complete tie-resolution or tick-reset specification.

Source review establishes what a source says. Kingy has not independently reproduced these mechanics in the current game. Community observations retain their original build context.
Read the HUD
In TacticalNed’s beta footage, large figures below the minimap show team scores and smaller figures beside the person icon show zone population. A bar tracks the scoring interval. The narrator reports 30-second point intervals and each Hot Zone player counting twice. Those extra rules remain creator-reported rather than current-build measurements.
- Find your position relative to the large zone boundary.
- Compare the three displayed population counts.
- Look for the smaller moving Hot Zone before choosing the next position.
- Watch whether the score advances; if your position no longer contributes, reassess where your group is needed.

Choose a position with a purpose
A useful decision is whether your group can hold the smaller zone, reinforce the wider zone, or support those who do. Do not infer a universal best location from a screenshot of another match: objective placement varies.
The scoring effect of ties, downed players, vehicles at different heights and players crossing a boundary during a tick still needs controlled testing.

Common problems
- Cash income and team match points are different counters.
- A tower, FOB and Hot Zone are separate things.
- The 30-second interval and double population weighting are beta reports, not a Kingy launch test.
