Healing restores a living player’s health; reviving returns a downed player to action. Check the target’s condition and select the corresponding item or interaction.
Before you start
- An appropriate medical item, or access to the basic revive interaction.
- A reachable target and a covered approach.
- A charged battery when using a defibrillator.
Restore health
TacticalNed’s walkthrough reports that health does not regenerate passively and points to the lower-right health display. Bandages and first aid kits restore lost health.
A beta player describing their custom bindings reports right mouse as the bandage’s self-use action. Check the currently displayed item controls before relying on a rebinding.
- Check your health and move into cover.
- Equip the medical item rather than leaving it unused in your backpack.
- Use the action shown for yourself or for the nearby target, then confirm that the health display changes.

- Player report: Bandage self-use and custom keybindings ↗
Dated beta discussion. A player reports right mouse self-healing despite a changed secondary-use binding. This establishes a historical interaction, not a persistent launch bug.
Source review establishes what a source says. Kingy has not independently reproduced these mechanics in the current game. Community observations retain their original build context.
Choose a revive tool
The medic video describes the Field Resuscitator as a single-use faster revive item. It describes the Individual First Aid Kit as a healing item, and the defibrillator as a reusable revive tool that needs a battery. The Medical Bag has a limited supply pool. These are pre-launch descriptions; exact charges, prices and timings require current evidence.
Players also describe a slower basic revive and faster equipped tools.

Complete the rescue
Players report that dragging a casualty can interrupt another person’s revive. The context interaction may offer dragging before reviving, so read the action rather than pressing it blindly.
- Tell nearby medics which casualty you are approaching.
- If someone is already reviving, avoid moving the casualty without coordinating.
- Choose the revive action and keep the target reachable until completion.
- After the player gets up, check whether they still need healing.

Common problems
- A healing item is not automatically a revive tool.
- Battery-dependent equipment needs a usable battery, not merely an empty tool.
- No precise launch revive times, bleedout-reset rule, medical charge counts or full target-condition matrix have been independently reproduced here.
