Apothecarium Supplies guide: blood, scales and venom objectives

After the rescue turn-in, Sylvanas directs Garek to Grand Apothecary Putress. At 41:43 the game assigns Apothecarium Supplies. Putress is in the laboratory by the worktable and bookshelves; at 43:02 the conversation objective is completed and the gathering list appears.

1. Follow Talk to Putress in the Apothecarium and approach him with the heroes. Let the conversation finish.
2. Read the updated objectives before leaving: travel to Tirisfal Glades, collect five Darkhound blood samples and six Murloc scales, and gather Broodmother Venom.

At 43:15 the game explicitly tells the player to use the Apothecarium elevator to reach the Trade Quarter. In part 2, the 11:18 quest update marks Travel to Tirisfal Glades completed.

1. Use the Apothecarium elevator to reach the Trade Quarter, following the on-screen hint. Continue toward the quest destination, Tirisfal Glades.
2. Check that the travel objective has completed when you reach the outdoor quest area. The recording includes shopping and exploration; those detours are not established requirements.

Part 2 at 11:18 shows four of five blood samples collected in woodland near a webbed opening and a broken cart. By the cave checkpoint at 28:16, the blood objective is completed. The final quest log explicitly reads five of five.

1. Look for Darkhounds in the outdoor quest area and check the named quest counter as you collect blood. Compare the 11:18 landscape and minimap with your explored area if you need a reference.
2. Keep collecting until the blood objective is marked completed. Five samples does not establish a guaranteed five-kill requirement; the recording does not verify a universal drop rate.

At 28:16 the heroes are in a rocky cave with blue and orange mushrooms, and the update reads Murloc Scales: one of six collected. The 56:11 quest log confirms six of six. The linked cave frame provides a visual checkpoint, but a precise entrance route and all six individual pickups have not been mapped.

1. Compare the cave scene and minimap at 28:16 with your current exploration, and watch for the Murloc scale counter after encounters.
2. Continue until the quest itself reports six of six. Check the objective before leaving the area; count the collected scales rather than assuming every enemy awards one.

Broodmother Venom is an explicit main-quest requirement. Part 2 shows a named Broodmother fight from 45:13 in a webbed green cavern. At 50:03 the completion message names the optional quest The Widow’s Lair.

That optional completion does not verify the venom pickup. The final visible quest log still lists Apothecarium Supplies as active, and its lower objectives are offscreen. The exact venom acquisition and main-quest turn-in need further gameplay evidence.

1. Before attempting the recorded Broodmother encounter, check both heroes’ health, mana and available abilities. This is preparation advice; no optimal build, boss rotation or difficulty-specific strategy has been tested.
2. After the encounter, open Apothecarium Supplies and read the venom objective. Follow the current instructions in your own quest log. Only mark the main quest complete when your game explicitly confirms it.
