A Second Chance walkthrough: main campaign opening

The opening objective at 1:45 asks Garek to gather his senses. At 2:00 Anya introduces herself and tells him to follow.

1. Let the opening conversation finish, select Garek and follow Anya out of the starting chamber.
2. Stay with her through the stone corridors. If you lose the route, check her position before exploring a different passage.

Anya stops at a Revival Altar. The game introduces it as help after falling in battle and explicitly says it heals nearby units. The inspected footage does not establish a healing rate or revival cost.

1. Approach the altar with Garek and let Anya’s explanation finish. Remember its position before continuing to the training area.
2. If health becomes low during training, returning close to the altar is an editorial recovery suggestion based on the healing hint. Check your health bar before leaving again.

Anya next tells Garek to train with the guards. A counter tracks the guards left to train with. It falls as the recorded party moves through the connected training areas and fights the guards; Anya acknowledges the finished training at 6:26–6:30.

1. Move through the training area with Anya and engage the guards assigned to the exercise. Watch the remaining-guards counter after each encounter.
2. Continue across the connected walkways to guards you have not trained with. If the counter remains above zero, check the areas you passed before looking for a different quest.
3. Monitor Garek’s health and mana. Read the abilities available in your own game and use recovery supplies when needed; this guide does not prescribe a tested build.
4. When the counter clears and Anya acknowledges the training, follow her onward into the city.

The group reaches a circular market platform at 7:36. At 7:46 Anya points out Fiona’s supplies and gives Garek some spending coin. The game explicitly marks A Second Chance complete beside the stall.

1. Follow Anya to the market platform and approach Fiona’s supply stall. Let the handoff finish and check for the A Second Chance completion message.
2. Review Fiona’s stock if you need supplies. Completion is already visible in the inspected shop frame; this guide does not require a particular purchase.

After the first quest completes, Anya asks Garek to come with her to meet someone. The following sequence introduces Sylvanas. At 10:30 the new main quest is Rescue the Forsaken.

1. Continue with Anya after browsing supplies and allow the Sylvanas conversation to finish.
2. Read the new objectives: travel to the Capital City Ruins, then find and rescue new Forsaken. Continue with the Rescue the Forsaken walkthrough linked below for the four encounters and Sylvanas turn-in.
