The short answer
Blizzard confirms the Forsaken Paladin as a new multiplayer Tavern hero across Classic, Definitive Edition and Reforged. Exact ability values and campaign build recommendations are not yet verified in this edition.
Before you start
- An updated client.
- A suitable practice game if you want to inspect the multiplayer hero.
Separate multiplayer availability from campaign progression
Use the Tavern in a suitable multiplayer practice context to look for the new hero. The official announcement confirms availability across the three graphics presentations.
The campaign’s narrative and progression may use different rules. A multiplayer tooltip is not sufficient evidence for a campaign talent recommendation. Record which mode you are testing.

Read the complete ability before choosing a build
Our recommended evaluation begins with tooltips and a controlled practice scenario. It avoids assigning a role from the word “Paladin” alone.
- Record each available ability’s target restrictions, resource cost, cooldown and effect from your installed build.
- For a healing or support effect, check whether the text includes the caster, allies or particular unit types. Do not infer self-healing from the name.
- Change one ability choice at a time and observe the result in the same situation.
- Keep multiplayer observations separate from campaign observations, including patch and difficulty where applicable.

What is needed for a reliable build guide
A useful build recommendation needs verified ability ranks, access conditions and a concrete job: surviving a named fight, sustaining a group or dealing with a particular threat.
We will add builds when those inputs can be sourced or reproduced. There is currently no verified best-build ranking, talent calculator or complete hero-stat table on this page.
