Vault Shards and Cores: start with South Temple Woods

Find the southern Temple Woods entrance

Look for the vault map marker in southern Temple Woods, south of Bramblemead Village. The established route name is Crasorak Kara. This is a useful first target before the longer northern vault.

Vault Shards come from vault enemies; Cores are separate pickups within the dungeon. Check both counts after a run instead of treating every vault reward as the same resource.

Follow the rooms and return to the lever

1. From the entrance, take the passage to the left. Clear the guardian rooms and watch a complete trap cycle before crossing.
2. Continue to the chamber protected by Sentinels and collect its Core after the fight.
3. Follow the route through the later rooms to the lever. It opens access back into the main chamber, where a Vault Overlord guards another Core.
4. For the optional barred chamber, look above the adjacent room for a wall opening. The reported route uses Windstep to reach it. Leave this extra pickup for later if you lack the spell.

Spend the first haul deliberately

Choose the next station or travel point before spending your Cores. They also appear in other equipment and crafting-station recipes, so a successful run does not make every Core spare.

Windstep is now in Agility. The 2025 vault walkthrough’s navigation remains useful, but an old Runecrafting unlock instruction would send you to the wrong skill tree. Kingy has not established a current reset timer or repeat-run yield for this vault.
