GUIDE / COMBAT
Weapons and weapon fundamentals
A reviewed Tiger Cannon encounter, preliminary weapon notes and the equipment details still needing verification.
The cannon and heavy-shield examples below follow reviewed segments of S-GAME’s August presentation. Earlier weapon-switching notes remain preliminary; the slot count and complete moveset catalogue have not been verified here.
The three-slot loadout
UnverifiedAn earlier edition interpreted the HUD as a three-slot loadout. That interpretation has not been traced to a named, reviewed interval or a current equipment screen. The number of equipped weapons and the rules for switching during a combo remain unverified here.
Single-blade, twin-blade and other weapon forms appear in the wiki’s preliminary sighting notes. Those notes do not establish slot assignments, starting equipment or acquisition requirements. Use the named Tiger Cannon example below for a bounded observation.
The Phantom Blade
UnverifiedAn earlier edition described a spectral-partner finisher as the Phantom Blade. This review has not established that name or its mechanical meaning from an identified source. The retained database entry is a preliminary note; it does not prove an equippable title weapon, a finisher input or a partner mechanic.
How to think about weapons before launch
Editorial guidanceThe build planner stores personal notes without validating equipment slots, compatibility or damage. Record the source or game version alongside an observation so you can compare it with later evidence.
Tiger Cannon: respond before an explosive enemy closes in
Official footageS-GAME presents the Tiger Cannon as a ranged response to groups and self-destructing enemies.
- At 9:33, Soul aims from a ledge toward a group; at 9:38, he targets an approaching explosive enemy in a passage.
- At 9:39, the cannon shot produces a blast.
- At 9:40 the burning target advances; another explosion follows at 9:41. The first impact does not visibly stop its approach.

Using that example in your own fight
Editorial guidanceWith the Tiger Cannon equipped, fire before the rushing enemy reaches melee distance. Keep space and reassess after the hit.
The clip does not establish an unlock route, ammunition cost, input binding, safe blast radius or guaranteed kill on another difficulty. Follow your build’s prompts and resource display. The linked full presentation contains enemy and story footage beyond this short example.
When a light blade meets a heavy shield
Official footageS-GAME recommends iron fists and hammers against heavy shields. At 9:22–9:25, Soul closes on a raised shield, lands a heavy fist-like strike, and the shield bearer reels backward. The excerpt does not establish a universal guard-break rule.

Trying a heavy response
Editorial guidanceIf light attacks keep meeting a shield, try an available iron-fist or hammer response. Follow your build’s controls and check the enemy’s reaction before attacking again. The footage does not provide an acquisition route, exact input, damage value or guaranteed opening on every difficulty.
