The announced December opening #
The roadmap graphic and panel recap announce December 9 as the new-raid milestone. Blizzard also announces new tier sets and a legendary reward tied to this content, without revealing full reward details.
No opening hour is published in the reviewed sources. Do not plan a first pull around a guessed time; check the current release-date and sources pages when the hour is announced.

Organize by announced group size #
These steps use announced rules only. Attunement routes, dungeon keys and loot tables from other WoW versions must not be transplanted into Forever without verification.
- Separate interest in 10-, 20- and 40-player raid groups now. Recheck encounter and roster rules before assigning fixed roles.
- Agree on the same ruleset and faction. Blizzard’s Deep Dive rules out cross-ruleset and cross-faction grouping.
- Record December 9 as the announced raid milestone without inventing an opening hour.
- Before setting an equipment requirement, check a current Forever guide with item sources and encounter evidence.

Announced systems to prepare alongside the raid #
Legacy rewards progress across characters and can make alts more useful for a raid schedule. Blizzard announces a launch limit of 16 points spent per character and up to 65 earned points; the reported Permanence preview extends eligible group or raid class-stat buffs and resting benefits from camps, making it a preview to watch rather than a confirmed raid tool.
Honor is revised and Darkspear Islands is announced as a 15-versus-15 battleground with control points. Its earning formula, thresholds and rewards are unverified, so it informs group planning without supplying a PvP preparation list.
Camping can give adventurers shared buffs, with one-hour rules and first objects unlocking at skill 20; exact recipes and placement rules are still unverified. New tier sets and a legendary reward are announced for the raid milestone without full details.

What the beta can and cannot test #
The initial level-20 cap and later planned level-30 cap do not cover maximum-level raids. Use beta for available content; it does not establish raid attunements, strategies or loot.
Beta-to-launch progress carryover is unverified. Do not treat a test character’s equipment or Legacy points as secured launch progress, and do not publish raid guidance from the beta.

Keep these questions open #
