The short answer
AION 2 officially has pets. NC says they follow players, transform into rideable mounts and can provide benefits such as auto-looting. The Ultimate Founder’s Pack also names a Black Dragon pet. Combat, storage, summon limits, trade rules, upgrades and non-pack acquisition remain unresolved.
Before you start
- Following, rideable transformation and possible auto-looting are official statements, not Kingy gameplay tests.
- The reviewed page does not state whether every pet has every listed benefit.

Posture on cash-shop companions
If a companion is offered for real money, the record says so with the official price and store link — never a recommendation to buy. The wiki lists what things cost; it does not sell them.

Troubleshooting: “is the pet worth it?”
Auto-looting is an officially named possible benefit, but the page does not say which pets provide it or whether pets fish, fight or store items. Check the individual record before assigning a capability.
