NC names the Elyos and Asmodians in its official “Tale of Two Worlds” section. That establishes the names, not whether both are selectable factions, how or when you choose, whether the choice is permanent, which classes are available, or whether characters on opposite sides can play together. Confirm the live rules before committing.

Do not restart your character because a forum said so. Renaming, re-rolling and faction-charge mechanics are unresolved until official pages or first-hand observations (with build and date) evidence them.
