WoW Forever quests, leveling and equipment planning

Verified level ranges and reward announcements, with route and gear advice kept build-specific.

QUICK ANSWER

Blizzard announces over 1,000 new quests across levels 1–60, including over 150 in Riverglades. New raid tier sets and a legendary reward are announced, but item stats, sources and best-in-slot rankings are not verified. Use the known zone ranges for a broad plan; wait for tested quest routes and equipment data.

What the quest announcement establishes #

No level scaling is an explicit design rule. A zone’s announced range helps frame the journey, but it is not a measured minimum level or a guarantee that every quest there suits the same character. The current sources do not provide a complete quest list, coordinates or completion order.

What to check before following a route #

These are criteria for evaluating a future guide. They are not a tested Forever leveling route. A familiar Classic quest title can still have changed prerequisites or rewards.

  1. Match the guide to Forever and its stated build, faction, race and starting level.
  2. Check the entry condition: preceding quests, travel access, reputation or other unlocks must be documented.
  3. Confirm pickup and turn-in locations, the objective and any item that must be kept for the next step.
  4. Check the route’s next destination and what to do when a quest is unavailable.

What is known about equipment #

Blizzard’s raid announcement mentions new tier sets and a legendary reward, without providing the complete item stats, acquisition steps or loot tables. No specific item can be recommended as best-in-slot from that announcement alone.

Class and specialization changes also affect how equipment should be compared. A useful gear recommendation needs the current item, its source and availability, the intended specialization and the build or calculation supporting the comparison.

  • Keep raid-set and legendary announcements separate from confirmed rewards obtainable in a particular beta build.
  • Do not assume that a Classic drop location or item value carries over unchanged.
  • Choose rewards using current tooltips when you can play; do not follow an unsourced shopping or farming list.

Where group progression fits #

Nine new dungeons are announced. The December 9 raid roadmap lists Barrow Deeps (10 players), Hyjal Summit (20) and Onyxia’s Lair (40).

The dungeon and raid guide lists the named destinations and group sizes. Level requirements, attunements, encounter mechanics and farm routes remain unpublished until supported.
