How to get ready for WoW Forever

Choose the path that fits your plans

1. Playing at launch with an existing race? Check that your subscription or game time will be active on November 4.
2. Want to try the beta? Use the official opt-in for a chance at an invitation, or check an edition that expressly includes beta access.
3. Want a Skyborne character? Check the Skyborne Heroic Pack or an edition that includes its benefits.
4. Care about your character name? Read the October 27–November 3 reservation terms and prepare alternatives.

Make a shortlist before committing

Write down the role you enjoy, the faction your friends intend to choose and two character names. Blizzard has announced class and specialization updates, so a familiar Classic build is a starting point for questions, not a verified Forever build.

Use the preparation checklist to keep these decisions together. It saves on this browser and can be exported as a text file for another device.

When you get access

1. Use the official Battle.net client and check that the account and game selection match your access.
2. Read the current build notes before choosing talents or following a leveling route.
3. Confirm the available realm and faction choices with your group before making a character.
4. Record your build number when reporting a quest problem. The same quest can change between beta updates.
