What supports Warlock’s roster entry #

The Forever-specific race/class guide published by Wowhead includes Warlock. Its incomplete race matrix does not let us verify every race combination, including claims about new Troll Warlocks.

Skyborne is a clearer decision: Blizzard lists six classes across its two factions, and Warlock is not one of them. Do not choose a Skyborne pack on the assumption that it unlocks a Warlock of the new race.

Is Warlock tanking confirmed? #

The reviewed official announcement and panel recap do not confirm a Warlock tank role. Forever’s general promise to revamp classes does not establish which Season of Discovery mechanics will carry over.

If tanking is the reason you want Warlock, keep your group assignment open until the role is documented in Forever. The Paladin profile has a sourced report of a new tanking seal; that report does not establish equivalent changes for Warlock.

When a Warlock equipment guide becomes useful #

The reveal introduces new gear and class revamps, so an old item list cannot establish a Forever best-in-slot set. Verified spell behavior, role requirements and item rewards are needed together before a Warlock gearing recommendation can be actionable.

Use the quests and equipment guide to follow what has been announced. Save a specific weapon or pet farming route for evidence from the Forever build.
