The developer says The Town will continue to exist and evolve even after Graveyard Keeper 2’s story ends. The postgame details are not fully documented yet, so this guide separates that confirmed direction from unknown systems such as repeatable activities, endgame rewards, and whether restored businesses continue changing.

The confirmed postgame idea
The official Town diary says that even long after the story ends, The Town will continue to exist and evolve on its own. That makes the Town more than a one-time restoration checklist: it is intended to remain part of the world after the main narrative.
What the Town already connects
Town restoration is tied to districts, housing, cafés, shops, infrastructure, markets, products, resources, incoming corpses, and the wider graveyard economy. A postgame record should show which of those systems remain active after the story.
What to verify at launch
Record post-story quests, repeatable tasks, Town changes, market refreshes, business output, corpse quality, NPC activity, new threats, and any endgame progression. Do not call a system “infinite,” “complete,” or “optimal” without testing its limits in the released build.
