The familiar foundation
You still manage a medieval graveyard, gather materials, build machinery, craft useful goods, and turn the business of death into a source of progress. The sequel keeps the spirit of the original while making the operation larger.
The big additions
The Town becomes a playable restoration system, zombies can work in production and fight, underground factories extend automation, and combat includes weapons, armour, towers, and fortifications.
Story and world changes
The latest diary places the story eight years after the original. The world includes new regions and characters, with some familiar faces returning; the sequel’s talking skull is not Gerry.
What this page will add at launch
Once the game is live, this comparison will expand with tested systems, named content, progression differences, quality-of-life changes, and a clear list of what returning players should relearn.
