Steam demo saves should carry over; the current support page gives no Nintendo transfer status, and cross-platform transfer is unconfirmed.

The latest PC announcement checked October 14 is update 1.010, published October 13. It covers quest/progression blocks, collision softlocks, workers, order slots, pickup and controller issues, and named crashes. The console support list remains separate; no complete per-platform version table is supplied.

Release and platforms

The PC Steam listing marks the full game released September 22, 2026; the separate free demo launched September 14. The developer FAQ lists Steam, GOG and Epic Games on PC, plus PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S and Nintendo Switch/Switch 2. GOG has a live product page. Steam Deck and audio choices

Steam now marks Graveyard Keeper 2 Deck Verified, and the developer FAQ confirms that rating. Verified does not promise steady FPS in rain or long sessions; see the launch-issues guide for official checks and player-reported limits.

The developer FAQ confirms a choice between full voice-over and original-style mumbling without giving the exact menu path. The current known-issues page no longer names the earlier Speech Volume warning; removal alone does not establish a volume fix.

Can I play now and keep my save?

The official September 22 launch post says demo saves carry into the full game. tinyBuild says Steam transfers should happen automatically and gives Windows steps to copy .dat and .info files if needed. Steam Deck/Linux players describe copying the demo folder between Proton prefixes; that is community guidance. The current support list does not establish Nintendo transfer behavior, so preserve the demo save before attempting an import.

Starting with the sequel

You can approach the story as a newcomer: the September 2 diary says it was designed to be understandable for players starting with the sequel. Returning players can expect connections to the original, but the developer does not present completing its story as a prerequisite.

What kind of game is it?

The official description puts you in the role of the Grand Inquisitor, restoring the Town, managing a medieval graveyard, automating production and leading an undead army. Steam lists single-player support. Less grinding was a developer goal; its October 2 post acknowledges chores and plans further changes, so this wiki does not claim a measured reduction.

Languages and PC requirements

Steam lists English full audio with subtitles, plus French, German, Spanish-Spain, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese-Brazil, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Turkish subtitles. Current Steam and tinyBuild specifications list Windows 10 x64 or newer, a 13th-generation Core i3 or similar, 6 GB RAM, GTX 1650 or similar, DirectX 12 and 4 GB storage as minimum. Recommended hardware is a 13th-generation Core i5 or similar, 8 GB RAM and RTX 3060 or similar, with the same OS, DirectX and storage. No resolution or frame-rate target is stated.

The October 8 support snapshot documented platform exceptions for 1.007 and frozen saves. The current October 14 list supplies no complete replacement version table; removed entries alone do not prove repair. Check the current platform support and installed version.
