Milestones: activate a post and make a return trip

Start at a Milestone post and check its activation requirement. Launch-week reports describe Faith-funded unlocks, followed by travel to another active post. The procedure below is reported guidance; Kingy has not reproduced it on the current build.

SECTION 01

The announced change

The Teleportstone is out. The developer’s September diary names Milestones as the fast-travel system connecting unlocked locations.

SECTION 02

Activate, travel and check the return route

VGTimes reports this sequence: find a post, meet its displayed Faith requirement and activate it. With two posts active, interact with either one and select the other active destination on its map. It reports that activation is paid once, with no further Faith charge for travel.

Before committing Faith, read the requirement in your installed game. After arrival, check your location and remaining Faith, then interact with the destination post to try the return trip. A visible map marker alone is not evidence of a completed journey.

Metadata checked · footage interval not reviewed

Prelaunch illustration. Kingy inspected sampled frames and brief playback near the destination change; the whole interval was not continuously reviewed. Follow the written procedure above and check your current build.

Source & footage context

Uploaded September 16, 2026; checked September 27. The recording shows an activation menu, map views and a later Yard scene. Platform and exact build are unspecified. These observations do not verify current prices, resource deductions, travel from the character-menu map or console controls.

SECTION 03

If activation or travel is unavailable

No Faith yet: Destructoid reports that Church sermons provide it after story progress involving the Nun. Continue the relevant story objectives if sermons are unavailable; this guide does not promise that meeting one NPC completes every prerequisite.

Inactive destination: inspect the destination’s unlock state before diagnosing a broken route. No travel action: return to a post and use its interaction; the reported sequence starts there. Record the exact message, current location and destination if it still fails.

Avoid spending all your Faith without checking other needs. Destructoid also notes competing uses for the resource. A failed activation and a failed trip need different evidence: record the displayed cost and inventory for the former, and both posts’ states for the latter.

SECTION 04

What this route does not establish

There is no verified complete node map, current price table, controller-button mapping or measured travel-time/cooldown result here. Test carried-item transport and persistence after saving separately. If the current build behaves differently, record its version, platform, save origin and the full interaction before treating this launch-week procedure as a fix.

SECTION 05

PC 1.008 battle restriction

The October 2 PC patch prevents use of Fast Travel Points during battle. Finish the battle before diagnosing an unavailable travel action as a broken Milestone. This patch does not publish new activation costs or a complete node map.
