What is currently known
Eight years have passed since the original game. The developer says the sequel’s story is designed to be understandable for players starting with GK2, while still including material for returning fans. Most characters are new, several familiar characters return, and the talking skull companion is not Gerry. The same Keeper is being retained, though “not exactly” the same; players who know the Stranger Sins DLC may already have a clue about that distinction. Character identities, plot turns, and endings still need to be mapped from the released game.
