About this guide
Town and graveyard growth come from the developer diary. Income suggestions come from a September 23 Steam discussion; Kingy has not checked prices, sale limits or profit in-game. Sermon guidance uses Prima’s launch-period report; exact build/platform unspecified.

Where early money can come from
A September 23 Steam answer suggests cremating bodies for certificates to sell when graveyard space is tight. Another player says restored Town shops buy goods in small batches, and suggests selling Clay Plates to the village merchant as a cheap fallback. That player warns repeated sales push the plate price down. Check each buyer’s current price and stock before crafting a large batch.
Warehouse trade requests may provide another income route, but the commenter who suggested them said they had not completed one yet. This thread does not establish payouts, production costs, a best item, or a repeatable copper-per-day rate. Keep the church income you already know about in your comparison; it has a weekly wait for the player who asked.
Decision support
Compare immediate cash with the materials and time needed to produce it. Town prosperity also affects the quality of incoming corpses, according to the developer diary.
Graveyard modules
The new graveyard layer uses modules with space for tombs, benches, columbaries, monuments, and graves, plus new grave designs and decorations. Exact layouts and ratings need launch testing.
Economy pages
Prices, recipes, outputs, production time, and profit calculations will be tied to a specific game version and clearly stated assumptions.
No invented optimization
The wiki will not publish a “best” route until the relevant costs, outputs, and alternatives have been tested.
Prepare a sermon and check its chance
After obtaining Basic Prayer through the Church introduction, check sermon availability. These are Prima’s reported steps, not Kingy-tested gameplay.
Select a prayer at the altar. Check attendance, Town Gratitude and success chance. Compare another owned prayer before starting.
Quests and Commerce jobs replenish Gratitude. Check the current amount and cap before using a Gratitude certificate.
Conduct the sermon; compare its report with actual Faith and money received. If it fails, record the prayer grade and displayed conditions. Neither a bug nor a reward formula is established by one result.
Trading and sermons after launch
PC update 1.008 increases the maximum likes from vendor trading and the likes earned for trading a specific item, alongside Order and Town Gratitude changes. Earlier prices and reward assumptions should not be used as a current profit calculation without checking the installed build.
The October 2 post plans more Faith from sermons; the October 6 1.009 notes correct sermon ending behavior but do not confirm that planned Faith increase. No new sermon payout formula is established.
