Weapons & equipment

Weapon categories, effectiveness, Combat Art durability and equipment enhancement.

This article includes publicly disclosed story and gameplay details. Unknowns and reporting are labelled; source references are collected below.

Latest official clarification

Nintendo’s Direct recap lists swords, gauntlets, spears, axes, bows and magic. Collected materials can be used to enhance weapons at the Shopping Arcade; the full recipes, costs and durability-repair rules are not documented. Nintendo describes five Beginner classes and over ten Specialty classes; the nine named examples here are not the complete roster.

Confirmed weapon-level information

Weapons are an equipment category used in tactical combat, and their type can affect effectiveness against enemy classes. Combat Arts consume weapon durability. Spears are described as effective against cavalry, while magic is effective against heavily armored units.

No specific individual weapon, spell, consumable, key item, resource, or treasure name is established in the reviewed material. Apparent weapons shown in footage should not be assigned names based on resemblance to equipment from another game.

Visually inferred artifacts

Press coverage reports weapons or objects that appear to contain Crest Stone-like elements and identifies visual similarities to Hero’s Relics. These observations do not confirm item names, origins, powers, or that every similar object uses the same lore as equipment in Three Houses.
