The short version
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is a tactical role-playing game set in Dagda. You follow four heroes who enter the Heroic Games in 1449, while a separate crisis in 1454 threatens the Dagdan Empire. The player’s soul moves between those eras to change what happens next. Source 1 ↗ Source 12 ↗
The game is planned for Nintendo Switch 2 and is listed as single-system, one-player software. Nintendo’s US product page gives a September 17, 2026 release date; regional listings and final launch details can differ.
What you do during a normal session
- Choose a story path. Cai, Dietrich, Theodora and Leda each enter the Heroic Games for a different reason.
- Prepare in Dagsion. Recruit allies, train at Arena Plaza, improve weapons at the Shopping Arcade, seek Blessings at Temple Row and use the inn before time advances.
- Fight tactical battles. Position units on a grid, match weapons to enemies, spend Combat Arts carefully and watch the Blaze Gauge.
- Travel through Dagda. Move between towns, quests, Skirmishes, resources and dungeons. Each move advances time.
- Change course when needed. Fortuna’s Blessing can rewind a battle, and the Pale Raven’s perch lets you switch between the four stories while preserving their progress.
The four heroes at a glance

| Dietrich | He is looking for stronger opponents after washing ashore in Dagda. |
