Confirmed high-level description
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is a Nintendo Switch 2 tactical role-playing game built around four parallel hero stories and two connected periods in the Dagdan Empire. In 1449, Cai, Dietrich, Theodora, and Leda enter the Heroic Games in Dagsion for different personal reasons. In 1454, the resurrected demon god Balor threatens the empire, and the player’s soul is asked by Sothis to help change the future through the time-related power of Fortuna.
The game combines grid-based tactical matches with city preparation and wider regional exploration. Between matches, players can recruit allies, train, shop, complete requests, visit temples, and pursue certification exams. Outside Dagsion, players can gather resources, undertake quests, enter dungeons, and fight through a separate turn-based encounter format called Clashes.
