Six named weapon families
Nintendo names swords, gauntlets, spears, axes, bows and magic. The published descriptions associate spears with cavalry effectiveness, magic with armored targets and support, axes with high attack and lower accuracy, bows with range, and gauntlets with evasion. Reported / Observed: Wilekko's September 16 Switch 2 showcase shows a forecast with `Wooden Spear` against `Wooden Sword` at 14:45–15:30 ↗, then `Iron Spear` against `Iron Axe` at 19:45–20:30 ↗. The frames establish named weapon UI and visible forecast fields; they do not establish universal damage, accuracy, durability, class restrictions or effectiveness rules.
Evidence boundary
A weapon shown in footage is not automatically named, obtainable or representative of the retail build. Use Weapon types & enhancement for the confirmed overview and Combat Arts & durability for the current system description until inventory, forecast and enhancement screens have been captured.
