Choose between a repair, a recruit and an exam
Before spending, compare three jobs for the same stock: keeping a deployed weapon usable, meeting a wanted recruit's item/payment condition, and buying the license for your next class plan. This priority check is an editorial budgeting method; it does not introduce an unverified shop price or crafting recipe.
- Check which weapon you actually intend to use in the next battle and read its displayed repair requirement.
- Open the wanted recruit's route record before selling or consuming the last copy of a named item.
- Check whether the intended exam is available before reserving money for its license.
- Put the items you already own in Inventory & costs. Add the recruit or class goal in its existing planner, then inspect the shared shortages.
- Recheck the in-game total at the shop. The wiki's license prices below are a dated observed stock snapshot, not an unlimited supply promise.
If an item appears in your inventory but you cannot consume it from that view, follow Use a healing item below. If the blacksmith is unavailable, check the reported unlock before looking for a nonexistent repair button.
Repair before the next match
The blacksmith opens at Renown 4. Normal attacks preserve durability; Combat Arts spend the amount shown in their menu. At the smithy, select a weapon and read the repair or refine requirements before committing materials. A broken weapon can be repaired. Pocket Tactics’ repair guide ↗
Prioritize weapons used by your deployed party. Compare repair costs against your next recruitment payment and exam purchase. Material names alone do not establish a recipe.
Use a healing item
Select the unit, move to the intended tile, then choose Items, select the item, press A and choose Use. Item use takes that unit’s action. The Y inventory view is not the consumption menu. This sequence is reported by bo3 ↗.
Consumable records
| Item | Reported use or location | Still unverified here |
|---|---|---|
| Vulnerary | Healing consumable | Exact HP restored, uses and shop price |
| Concoction | Consumable; reported in Cindered Road Cave in Part I and Heretics’ Cave in the Prologue | Exact HP restored, uses and shop price |
| Antitoxin | Poison treatment | Uses, price and full availability |
| Pure Water | Reported at Cave Behind the Falls and Nowah’s Cave | Effect and price; do not assume HP restoration |
bo3’s item guide ↗ supports this limited set of item functions and locations. Its Pure Water entry explicitly lacks a confirmed healing effect. Prologue, Part I and Part III chest records must stay separate.
Exam licenses
Scroll horizontally to see every column.
| Item | Observed shop price | Observed stock | Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Beginner License | 300G | 5 | Beginner exam |
| Specialty License | 500G | 3 | Specialty exam |
These prices and stock counts are visible in IGN’s public guide at 10:30–11:03 ↗. They are one shop snapshot, not a guarantee of restocking or universal prices. Master and Advanced license prices are not established in this table.
Accessory record
| Accessory | Reported effect | Evidence boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Miracle Gem | 3% chance to prevent damage from an enemy attack | Preview footage; current retail description not independently checked |
Serenes Forest’s preview analysis ↗ identifies that effect in a chest-reward scene. No stat bonus or additional effect is inferred.
Find a reward or keep an item for recruitment
Use Paralogues & deadline quests for all nine named battle rewards and their route windows. Use Recruitment database for the item quantities required by the twelve detailed recruits. Use Dungeon guide & Keys of the Diadem to locate a dungeon by region and distinguish its Part I recommendation from later visits.
Those cross-links are deliberate: a single item may be useful as equipment, a recruitment payment or a crafting input. Check the intended use before selling your last copy.
Forging and materials
Crates, mineral deposits and dungeons supply materials. The smithy lists each repair and refinement recipe; stronger weapons may need rarer inputs. A Karma-shard boon can reduce blacksmith prices. Exact recipes, discount percentages and a complete shop inventory remain open. Repair, refinement and discount reporting ↗
This is a seven-item reference plus the connected reward tables, not a complete item encyclopedia. Weapon might, hit, weight, uses, sell values and enhancement branches still need exact item-screen evidence. The official update note mentions additional series weapons, but does not name all of their unlock points. Nintendo update notes ↗
