Do not ring the dinner bell early
Beer is part of the Spider Crab setup: the sailor drinks it, and the empty can becomes bait. Prepare before casting it.
Your first useful milestone is the boat-key hand-in, not a perfect trick shot. Use the linked crab guide for the encounter, then the gun guide for the next shopping trip.

Choose the next problem
If combat is the obstacle, work on one encounter. If you saw a spinning sniper clip, follow weapon progression first. If you just want the strange coconut catch, keep Bing Bong bookmarked for Desert. One objective at a time; the fish already have enough ideas.
