Pistol or shotgun?

Replacing or sharing upgraded gear
Before replacing a cooked weapon, drop it in water: Patch 1.0.10 added cleaning for dipped weapons and tools, and current Steam replies report that route. If you still buy a new copy, an earlier reply warns that upgrades and attachments must be bought again. Preserve upgraded gear and confirm replacement costs on your build.
