The short answer
Scan three Wakemakers, then use the full Fabricator in your base. The Lifepod’s basic Fabricator cannot make this tool.
Before you start
- Scanner, improved oxygen and a powered base.
- Use a spare battery for a long swim.

Craft and power the Wakemaker
Use 1 Silver, 1 Wiring Kit, 1 Grease and 1 Basic Battery. Grease uses one Lucifer Rotsac; the Wiring Kit combines Silver and Copper Wire. Equip the completed tool from the hotbar.
Kingy return check: a fast outbound swim does not guarantee a fast return if the battery empties. Check the charge before descending and plan a nearby oxygen stop.
