Source & footage context
Reported public gameplay footage reviewed as a bounded UI observation. It is not a Kingy save, test or claim that the displayed text covers the complete release rule set. The opening setup visibly offers Casual, described as fallen units returning in the next battle, and Classic, described as fallen units being lost forever. This interval does not establish every difficulty, rewind rule or later setting. Nintendo Switch 2 docked showcase; the upload does not state a retail build number or region. Reviewed 2026-09-17. This is Reported public footage, not a Kingy firsthand test; keep the written article's build boundary visible.

What is known
Fortuna's Blessing allows the player to rewind a battle and reconsider an earlier decision, including after an unfavorable turn or a routed unit. The reviewed material does not establish charge counts, progression, difficulty restrictions or the exact state restored. Source 12 ↗
Launch-window reported mode screen
Reported / Observed: Wilekko's September 16 opening gameplay showcase visibly offers `Casual`, described as fallen units returning in the next battle, and `Classic`, described as fallen units being lost forever, at 5:50–6:15 ↗. The upload does not state a retail build number or region; this confirms the visible opening labels, not every mode, rewind rule or later setting.
Release-build checklist
Record the new-game difficulty screen, whether difficulty can change later, unit defeat behavior, reload behavior, retry options, enemy scaling, grind limits, accessibility options, rewind charges and what happens to experience, durability, HP and item use after a rewind.
| Question | Evidence required |
|---|---|
| Does defeat remove a unit? | Defeat result and post-battle roster |
| Can the player retry? | Menu state and resource cost |
| What does rewind restore? | Before/after save or battle-state comparison |
| Are charges limited? | Counter before, during and after use |
| Does difficulty change these rules? | Same test on each named difficulty |
Do not import series assumptions
Classic, Casual, permadeath, ironman, growth-rate visibility and assist rules must not be assumed from prior Fire Emblem titles. Until captured, Difficulty & unit loss remains an uncertainty page, while Fortuna's Blessing provides the confirmed distinction between rewind and ordinary Blessings.
