Launch-day checklist

1. Confirm the platform. This guide covers the Nintendo Switch 2 release.
2. Check the software version. Open the title's software-update menu and record the version shown.
3. Check free storage. Nintendo's US listing estimates a 27.5 GB download; keep additional working space available. Source 1 ↗
4. Restart after updating. Close the game fully, apply the update and retry the same action.
5. Protect the save. Nintendo's US listing identifies Save Data Cloud support; confirm your own membership and backup settings before relying on it.
6. Capture the evidence. Record region, platform, version, chapter, difficulty, save state, exact error text and whether a second attempt reproduces it.
