Before you start
- Three Malicious Blood secured through the Mörkhalla and invasion loop.
- Aesir Passage located. Postmode reports a Vegvisir near the base of Mörkhalla; treat it as a useful search lead rather than a guarantee in every cleared structure.
- A repaired blunt or slash primary weapon, durable armor, strong current food, fire and frost resistance options, healing and stamina recovery, ammunition for adds, and a complete spare kit outside the boss space.
Prepare the passage before offering anything
- Mark Aesir Passage and build the closest safe return point the current terrain permits. Test the route from spawn or portal to the entrance.
- Repair every item, refresh Rested, eat the intended fight food and move spare equipment plus recovery food into the exterior cache.
- Carry exactly the intended three Malicious Blood only after the retreat is ready. Verify the Strange Bowl prompt before offering them.
- Offer the three Blood when the group is assembled. The sources agree on the quantity, but do not establish refunds, partial offerings or retry consumption; treat the action as costly.

Choose damage that reaches the boss
Valheim.tools and redfreshet agree on this profile. They also agree on three phases, but exact current health totals conflict across databases that each claim game-file provenance. This edition omits those numbers and does not estimate kill time.
| Choice | Use | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Blunt or slash | Primary damage | Reported to land normally across the fight. |
| Pierce | Avoid as the main plan | Reported resistant. |
| Fire, frost or lightning | Use for utility only | Reported resistant; do not build the whole attempt around elemental damage. |
| Spirit | Do not rely on it | Reported ineffective. |
| Fire and frost resistance | Defensive preparation | Later attacks are reported to add both damage types. |

Fight the mechanic in front of you
- In the opening phase, learn the reach of the chain attacks before committing a full combo. Preserve stamina for movement and recovery.
- When the boss becomes invulnerable and summoned aspects appear, stop spending durability and resources on Kall. Clear the active aspects, prioritizing space and survival over damage on the immune target.
- In the final phase, expect the chain pattern to add elemental pressure. Keep fire and frost protection active, avoid stacking the group in one attack path and return to blunt or slash openings after each safe dodge.
- If the attempt fails, recover with the exterior cache and reassess food, resistances, durability and add control before returning. The summon or arena reset behavior is not documented here, so verify the current state before consuming more Blood.

Recover the final rewards before leaving
- After the defeat, collect the reported Sacrificial Blood and Crown Jewel and store them before experimenting with the ending interaction.
- Read their current descriptions and follow the released finale prompt. The official notes confirm new cinematics and both item names; this edition does not invent an undocumented post-boss crafting chain.
- Preserve the world and character state you care about before changing mods, commands or platform save arrangements after the finale.

My weapon barely damages Kall.
Switch from pierce, fire, frost, lightning or spirit to a repaired blunt or slash weapon. If the boss is invulnerable, clear the summoned aspects before attacking Kall again.
The exact health number differs from another site.
Current databases conflict on the total. Use phase transitions and the visible health bar; this guide intentionally provides no numeric estimate.
We wiped after making the offering.
Recover from the exterior cache, inspect whether the boss and arena remain active, and prepare the weakness in the failed attempt. Do not offer more Blood until the current game state shows that another summon is required.
Keep the result useful
Use the success check to finish this job, restock any reserves you used and return to the supporting journeys or your current boss objective.

- SteamDB: Valheim 1.0 patch notes (build 25185596)
Deep North, Kall Fimbulbringer, Winding Tunnels, Mörkhalla, environmental hazards, production pieces, new materials, events and updated Fader Relic functionality shipped in 1.0.
Community reference · Checked . Build-indexed record of Iron Gate’s official 1.0 notes. It confirms released names and broad mechanics, but does not establish the walkthrough order or exact recipes by itself.
- PC Gamer: Valheim 1.0 progression guide
Winding Tunnels lead to key moulds, keys open Mörkhalla, three invasion rewards are used at the Strange Bowl, and Kall drops Sacrificial Blood and a Crown Jewel.
Community reference · Checked . Launch-day progression reference from the same publisher as the key guide, so those two pages count as one source family rather than independent corroboration.
- Postmode: completed Deep North walkthrough
Winding Tunnels, Frostcore production, Fader-reward Ember production, Bloodgold, Intricate Key, Mörkhalla, the Jotun invasion, Malicious Blood and Aesir Passage are described as one route.
Community reference · Checked . Independent launch-day walkthrough based on a completed PS5 playthrough. It conflicts with other sources on some display names, so this edition uses Iron Gate’s official names and avoids treating aliases as separate items.
- redfreshet: Kall Fimbulbringer guide
Three Malicious Blood at the boss vessel, three combat phases, the invulnerable add phase, resisted elements and reported boss rewards.
Community reference · Checked . Current 1.0 specialist guide. Its phase and resistance claims agree with Valheim.tools; exact health values are intentionally omitted because current databases conflict.
- Valheim.tools: Kall Fimbulbringer
Kall has three phases, resists pierce, fire, frost and lightning, ignores spirit, interrupts damage with summoned aspects, takes three Malicious Blood to summon and drops Sacrificial Blood plus a Crown Jewel.
Community reference · Checked . Maintained current-game database. Its total-health presentation conflicts with another game-file database, so this guide uses only the independently corroborated phases, damage profile, summon cost and drops.
