Order of the Sinking Star official cover art

Three crystals and three southern pads (Heroes 4)

Quick answer

The red hero and three purple crystals begin in the upper-left area. Three yellow pressure pads lie near the bottom. A central blocked tile interrupts the approach, and an energy gate stands below a purple exit portal at the upper-right corner.

Match the starting layout

This is the fourth Heroes room completed in Cappa Games’ recording. Its exit returns to the overworld; the creator then chooses another entrance before the fifth recorded room. Its matching community identifier is heroes1_4; that identifier is not displayed in the native footage.

The diagram numbers columns from left to right and rows from top to bottom. P marks the hero, T the exit and letters A–C the crystals present. Pad and gate labels appear where those objects exist. These labels and coordinates are editorial references; directions describe the board, not fixed keyboard or controller bindings.

Reveal solution / story details

This recorded placement order uses eleven crystal pushes: six for A, three for C and two for B. Keeping the left pad free provides the standing tile for C’s final side push. This is an observed solution order, not a claim that every other order is impossible. The portal frame remains visible after the separate gate below it clears.

The source shows the critical movements, occupied exit and subsequent transition or overworld return. Kingy has not replayed this room in the native demo or completed it in the community recreation. No character switch is shown inside this recorded room.

  1. Push upper crystal A right two tiles to column 5, row 2. Walk around its north side to column 5, row 1, then push it down three tiles to column 5, row 5, between the middle and right pads.
  2. Walk around A using the open bottom row to reach its left side at column 4, row 5. The block at column 4, row 4 prevents a direct approach from above. Push A right once onto the right pad at column 6, row 5.
  3. Return to column 3, row 2, directly above lower-right crystal C. Push C down twice to column 3, row 5. Step left and down onto the still-free left pad, then push C right once onto the middle pad at column 4, row 5.
  4. Return to column 2, row 2, directly above lower-left crystal B. Push B down twice onto the left pad at column 2, row 5. All three pads are now covered and the gate clears.
  5. Leave the crystals in place. Walk around the north side of the central block to the right edge, then north through the cleared gate at column 7, row 2 into the purple portal above it. The hero occupies the portal at about 3:13; the overworld is visible again at about 3:20.
