Getting started

Campaign missions and multiplayer status

The short answer

Urban Games says Transport Fever 3 has eight campaign missions set in historic contexts, with the campaign’s opening section serving as a tutorial. Steam lists single-player. The current support FAQ says the developers are focusing on the single-player experience and gives no date or commitment for co-op or competitive multiplayer.

Start with the campaign if you want guided missions

The official support FAQ lists eight individual campaign missions in historic settings. It says the initial part of the campaign also acts as a tutorial for the core mechanics. The FAQ does not name every mission or describe their order, goals, rewards or difficulty.

Tycoon, Sandbox and Campaign are announced modes

Do not plan a multiplayer session at launch

Steam lists the game as single-player. Urban Games’ FAQ says its current goal is the best possible single-player experience and that it is not shifting resources to co-op or competitive multiplayer before accomplishing that goal. No timing or later multiplayer commitment is published in the checked sources.

Mission steps need a retail walkthrough

The public materials establish the number and broad purpose of campaign missions, not a mission-by-mission route. On a released build, record the game version, first mission, tutorial prompts, mode and difficulty screens before publishing exact steps or recommended settings.
