Classes & certification

Nine named class examples across Beginner, Specialty and Advanced tiers.

This article includes publicly disclosed story and gameplay details. Unknowns and reporting are labelled; source references are collected below.

Latest official clarification

Nintendo’s Direct recap lists swords, gauntlets, spears, axes, bows and magic. Collected materials can be used to enhance weapons at the Shopping Arcade; the full recipes, costs and durability-repair rules are not documented. Nintendo describes five Beginner classes and over ten Specialty classes; the nine named examples here are not the complete roster.

Class framework

A unit’s class affects movement range and weapon proficiency. New classes are obtained through certification exams in Dagsion. Official material groups the demonstrated classes into Beginner, Specialty, and Advanced tiers.

Certification exams allow units to change or gain classes. The reviewed material does not identify exam costs, required items, proficiency thresholds, failure rates, level requirements, or whether a failed attempt consumes resources.
