Chapter 6 side quests: Reunion, Fina, Sakura and Iron Splitter (Odin)
Quick answer
Four side quests are filed under Chapter 6 in the game data. "Reunion" (Fryevia in Gaberada, after Elven Maven) follows the elves to Sunioo and Mt. Thunderclap for a Magicite and 2,500 gil. Fina's Shimmering Reflections and Sakura's Mysidia, Ever Blooming both start in Mysidia and pay an accessory plus a stat bonus. Iron Splitter starts at the Bladerain Stele in Gronoa: you fight Odin's Shadow (MeowDB: Lv.45, 175,000 HP, weak to Thunder) and return a broken sword to the Nameless Ruins, which unlocks Odin.

Before you start
Spoilers through Chapter 6. Steps and rewards from NiaMeowDB's game-file quest pages (Community-reported (datamine)), RPG Site's, Game Rant's and PowerPyx's guides (Community-reported (text guides)). Video frames where cited are Community-reported (video). Enemy levels, HP and weaknesses marked MeowDB come from that fan database's game-file pages, not from a fight we watched, unless a frame is cited. Kingy hasn't played Chapter 6.

The four quests at a glance
All four are Chapter 6 ('Tranquility') quests in the game data. Game Rant also lists Last Respite under Chapter 6, and PowerPyx places the start of Jake's Token Legacy and Mechabo Unleashed's Malbodoom hunt in western Gronoa in Chapter 6.
None of these is missable as far as any source says: PowerPyx counts no missable trophies and says the map stays open in free roam after the story.
Fryevia, at the Gaberada inn (Game Rant), continues Silvia's search for elves; RPG Site says Elven Maven must be finished first. The evidence in Sunioo is on a hidden northern path at the village (RPG Site). The reward is a Magicite and 2,500 gil.
Fina starts her quest in Mysidia (Game Rant: at the entrance) once Chapter 6 begins. It sends you to the Earth Shrine's crystal chamber, Siren at the top of Siren's Tower, Olderion and Lake Dorr. The reward is the Blessed Pendant and, per RPG Site, Fina's attribute bonus of HP +100, MP +30, Spirit +30 and Magic +20.
Sakura's quest starts with a boy in Mysidia (RPG Site; Game Rant says the children south of Sakura's house). The island stop is north-west of Grandshelt in the game data and north-west of the Cavern of Swords in RPG Site; the grave is east of the Mysidia potion factory (RPG Site). The reward is the Amulet of Magic Absorption and, per RPG Site, Sakura's attribute bonus of HP +100, MP +30, Magic +30 and Spirit +20.
CGInferno's Chapter 6 playthrough (Community-reported (video)) ends the quest beside a grave on a fenced lawn in Mysidia: the card 'Mysidia, Ever Blooming' quest completed, then 'You obtained the following: Amulet of Magic Absorption'.

The Bladerain Stele, north-east of the Town of Duggle in Gronoa (RPG Site), starts it; RPG Site says the area opens after Fina learns Holy, and Gamer Guru's caption says after you clear the miasma in the story. The text sources disagree on the order; CGInferno's video shows one order (see below). RPG Site's steps are: interact with the stele, choose 'Prove yourself', beat Odin's Shadow, then talk to the Old Man at the Nameless Ruins. The game data lists only two objectives, finding the broken sword on Gronoa's western precipice and returning it to its owner at the Nameless Ruins, and its summary puts a phantom horseback rider's attack after the search, with Rain gaining a broken blade from the win.
CGInferno's Chapter 6 playthrough (Community-reported (video)) shows the order. At a stele a voice says its other half lies 'on the western precipice', and the quest is accepted there with no fight (the party picks up a Broken Sword Hilt at the stele); the tracker then reads 'Search for the broken sword on the western precipice of Gronoa'. On a cliff in the miasma fields a voice says the broken sword the party holds is its other half, then a 'Prove yourself' / 'Back away' choice appears and the fight against the horseback rider follows; the frames don't show which option was picked. After it the tracker reads 'Return the sword to its owner at the Nameless Ruins'. So in this playthrough the 'Prove yourself' choice and the fight came at the precipice, not at the stele, which matches the game data's order.
MeowDB lists Odin's Shadow as a boss at Lv.45 with 175,000 HP and weak to Thunder, but with counterattacks: after a set number of Thunder physical hits, and after a set amount of magic damage while it is Slowed; its counters also delay Doom. It drops a Magicite Cryst. In CGInferno's Chapter 6 playthrough (Community-reported (video)) the fight is against a horseback rider on a cliff in Gronoa's miasma fields, which appears to be this boss; it announces 'In lieu of my wielder, I shall see thee twained!', the party is Rain, Lasswell, Nichol and Archwitch Fina, and no name label shows in the frames we checked. Finishing the quest unlocks Odin.

Final Fantasy Resonance Trophy Guide & Roadmap ↗Community-reported (text guide), not a Kingy play test. Its entry for the trophy 'My Name Is Ultima…' (Defeat Ultima Weapon) says reloading a cleared save plays a short airship scene about a new presence in Ardra Crater in the south-east of the map, where Ultima Weapon stands and can be fought on interaction; that it is Level 70 with 3.9 million HP; that it can be beaten at Level 60, with 60–65 suggested as a minimum and the fight best left for last; that its strongest attack, Ultima Beam, is flagged by an exclamation mark on the turn bar and red flames above its HP bar; that it inflicts several status ailments; and that the win rewards an Ultima Reactor accessory along with the trophy. It also describes the magic-based party the author used (Reraise first, Shellga, Dispel against its Bravery, and Sakura's damage-nullifying Limit Break Eternal Veil before each Ultima Beam). It also says the Colosseum opens in Chapter 4 in Grandshelt, The Royal Capital, that crafting a first weapon with Aileen earns 'The Weapon that Suits the User' and crafting for all party members earns 'The Weaponsmith'. Its Legendary Arms entries say the first arm earns 'Ancient Artifact' and all twelve 'Legendary Arms', and place the Chamber of Arms on the mountainous island north-west of Dirnado, the Continent of Wind. On Tablet Shards it says the Enigmatic Princess is at Oblivion Palace, just south-east of Grandport Harbour in the Kingdom of Grandshelt, first visitable in Chapter 1; three shards open the first chest (trophy 'Princess's Reward'); and 60 trigger her second memory (trophy 'Memento'), enough to open everything in the first two treasure rooms. Its roadmap (read again on October 24, 2026) also says: none of the 40 trophies are missable; difficulty doesn't affect them, so Casual is fine; one playthrough is enough, with full free roam of the map, quests and collectibles after the story and no New Game+; there is one autosave and 10 manual save slots; and a platinum takes about 50–60 hours. Other entries: the 8th party member joins automatically during Chapter 5; each of the 8 party members has a substory (regular Sub Quests); the chocobo comes in Chapter 1 at the village of Kol and the airship at the start of Chapter 5; the Colosseum has four leagues of five battles, the Fledgling (leftmost, green), Brawler (second, blue) and Gladiator (third, purple) tables; spending and earning gil count cumulatively, Vaan at MR 9 has Double Gil, and you can save, spend 100,000 gil and reload; the King Gil Snapper (Lv.49, weak to Ice, absorbs other elements, very high physical defence), the Metal Gigantuar (8 HP, very high evasion, runs away) and a Gigantuar (lots of MRP) are random encounters on a small forested island past the optional Dragon's Maw dungeon, on the southern tip of the Kingdom of Pharm, open from the Chapter 5 airship but recommended at Level 55; awakening runs one star at a time with a Magicite Shard, then Magicite, then a Magicite Cryst, from a Moogle of Light in most towns or on the airship, Crysts first appearing in Chapter 5 and Magicite sold at the Colosseum late in the game; max Mastery Rank is MR 9 and is kept per character, while awakening stars apply to every character; 1,000 staggers came naturally by Chapter 4; 400 Resonances may need grinding, for example by repeatedly staggering one leftover enemy and using a healing Resonance such as Leah's or Ayaka's; and Mechabo's upgrades run through the side quests 'Arise, Mechabo!' (two Dynamo Stones from Ipooh outside the Dwarven Forge, Chapter 2), 'Mechabo Evolved' (three each of Dhorme Chimera, Medusa, Destroyer and sandworm) and 'Mechabo Unleashed' (from Chapter 5: three Mahadevas on Mysidia's western island and three Malbodooms in western Gronoa, Chapter 6 on). Rechecked October 24, 2026: it counts no missable trophies and says the game has full free-roam after the story; 'Conscience Renewed' is for clearing all party-member substories; 'Mechabo Mania' (upgrade Mechabo to his ultimate form) runs through Arise, Mechabo! in Chapter 2 (two Dynamo Stones from Ipoohs outside the Dwarven Forge), Mechabo Evolved (three each of Dhorme Chimerae, Medusae, Destroyers and Sandworms) and, after Chapter 5, Mechabo Unleashed (three Mahadevas in Mysidia and three Malbodooms in western Gronoa, from Chapter 6), reporting to Verun on the airship. Its Weaponsmith entry says Aileen is recruited through Forger of Wills in Dilmagia, available in Chapter 6. Read again October 25, 2026: the roadmap's three steps are Finish the story (about 40 hours), Side Content (10–15 hours; substories first for their stat boosts, then Legendary Arms and Adamantite) and Defeat Ultima Weapon and clean-up (1–5 hours); it calls Dragon's Maw's random encounters some of the toughest in the game and suggests returning at the end of the game when much stronger; it ties the Metal Gigantuar to 'Priceless Experience' and the King Gil Snapper to 'Struck Gold', and suggests Dualcast and high-level magic such as Ultima against the Metal Gigantuar.Reported ·
