Check cutting quality as well as sewing

The official cutting screenshot displays a separate Grain Quality percentage beside the pieces. Seerolz recommends Sewing Assist and reports pressing S a few times to slow stitching around corners. This is a player-reported keyboard control; check the binding in your build. Neither source gives a verified formula that lets us promise perfect dress quality from sewing alone.

Check a dress that cannot be finalized

The original poster still could not finish after looking for seams and reattaching pieces. These checks narrow the problem; the discussion does not prove a universal repair.

1. Look back at the cutting table. C0rvidae reports finding a small piece left there during a similar problem.
2. Rotate the dress slowly and check for an overlooked sewing indicator, as Jay suggests.
3. If every piece and seam appears complete, keep a screenshot and commission name for a bug report.

A report about switching fabric mid-cut

bloom reports that changing fabric during automatic cutting or piece collection can cut the newly selected material instead. There is no confirmed repair in the inspected thread. As a precaution, Kingy suggests letting the current cutting action finish before changing materials; this has not been tested as a workaround.

If the cutting tutorial loses its cursor

Build 403’s official notes say the disappearing-cursor tutorial bug was fixed. Check that Steam has installed that update or a later one before treating an old report as current behavior. Kingy has checked the notes, not retested the fix.
