We Were Here Tomorrow puzzle help: generators, crystals
Quick answer
In the generator and cable puzzle, players who solved it report that each node can carry power only once, the chain has to light the nodes the screens ask for, and it always ends on node 7. In the light and crystal puzzle, a wrong crystal configuration message usually means the right colour but the wrong crystal: players report the blue and purple crystals come in two or three different forms.

Before you start
Kingy has not played the game. Both puzzles are written from players' Steam reports, at least two per rule. The generator room's batteries, node boxes and cables are shown in a creator's launch footage below; the rules themselves and the crystal puzzle have not been checked on screen yet.
Players have posted full node orders for the last battery. Kingy has not confirmed whether the order is the same in every session, so this page explains the rules instead and links the threads.

Generator and cable puzzle: the rules
The room has generators wired together and three screens to power. Players in two separate Steam threads, one English and one Russian, describe the same rules, and none of them found an in-game explanation.
Read which nodes the screens ask for; that is the set your chain has to light. One player describes the same marks on the large batteries.Spoiler clip · The large batteries and the node marks under each one · reveal
Find the large batteries and read the node labels under each one: those are the nodes your power chain has to light. A charged battery turns green; one still waiting shows a red outline with red labels.

Follow the cables from the node that holds power to a node you have not used yet. Each generator or button can carry power only once, so your path can never go back through a used node.Spoiler clip · A node box, its ring button and lamp, and the cables leaving it · reveal

Plan the path across both players' sections before you press anything, since a wrong press uses up a node.Spoiler clip · The cable network across the generator hall · reveal
Before pressing anything, look over the hall from the walkway and trace where the glowing cables run between the generator boxes, so you can plan a route that never doubles back.

Two players posted the complete order they used for the last of the three batteries: one in the English thread and one in the Russian thread. The orders are close but not identical, and Kingy has not checked them on screen, so they are linked here rather than copied.
If you use one, read it as that pair's route and check each step against your own screens.
Light and crystal puzzle: wrong crystal configuration
You send light through crystals to colour it, then into a machine, in the order the notes give. Players who followed the notes' colours exactly, blue then green then purple, still got a wrong crystal configuration message.
The fix two players report: check each crystal's shape, not just its colour. The blue and purple crystals come in two or three different forms, and only the one the note describes counts.

Generator/Cable Puzzle - Help? ↗Players' thread, 10+ replies by October 21. Separate posters report that each generator or button can be used only once, that the goal is to light the nodes shown on the screens, and that 7 is always last. Single posters add that a node shows blue when holding power and yellow once used, that not every cable needs lighting, and that the reset keeps a finished battery; those single reports are not used on the page. Two posters give full node orders for the last battery. Leads only; Kingy has not played it.Reported ·
Как решить головоломку с генераторами и проводами? (generator and cable puzzle) ↗Russian-language thread. A separate player reports connecting only the generators each large battery asks for, without reusing a node unless it has enough cables, and that every chain seems to end on node 7. Read in translation by Kingy.Reported ·
Need Help with Light/Crystal Puzzle ↗A pair followed the notes' colour order (blue, green, purple) and got a wrong crystal configuration message. Replies: the blue and purple crystals have two or three different forms (one player, confirmed by another who had the same problem). A third player's note about which crystal Pingosius Crystalis is stays a single report and is not used.Reported ·
