Demo access, content and save transfer

Find the Steam demo and understand what carries into the full game.

Prerelease · October 8 target · demo sources reviewed September 13 · Updated 2026-09-13

The short answer

The Steam demo introduces three base worlds and the overworld. The developer confirms that Steam demo progress carries into the full Steam release.

Find the correct demo

Open the main Steam listing and follow its demo link. The official demo announcement identifies the separate Order of the Sinking Star Demo app. Check the current storefront for availability; a June extension announcement is historical, not a reliable current expiry date.

What is in the demo?

The launch announcement described roughly 110 levels including its early material; a subsequent update describes the earlier 75-puzzle build growing to more than 100 puzzles. These are descriptions of different demo builds, not a consistent numbered catalogue. The later update adds the Bard, the Druid, more overworld content and puzzles in which worlds merge.

What carries over?

The confirmed transfer is from the Steam demo into the full Steam game. Cross-platform transfers, cloud conflicts and final launch save paths are not established by this announcement. Keep your existing save intact and check launch instructions before replacing it.

Can I use a controller or share footage?

The demo announcement supports controller and mouse/keyboard play and permits sharing demo footage. That does not mean every puzzle solution on this wiki has been tested. Our current pages explain documented features and keep full solutions in the verification backlog.
