GTA VI gameplay: what’s been announced

The most concrete written feature details are attached to named edition items. They establish particular activities and facilities; they do not describe every version of those systems across Leonida.

Rideout offers interior, wheel and donk customization; One-Eyed Willie’s handles off-road modifications. Sara’s salon, Stock 305 and Electric Fang cover appearance changes. Those five named businesses explicitly require Ultimate; that does not establish that all customization does.

Sara’s covers styles for both protagonists, including Jason’s facial hair and Lucia’s makeup and nails. Stock 305 sells streetwear; Electric Fang offers more than 50 tattoo designs by FAILE. Each of these named businesses explicitly requires Ultimate.

Rockstar names fishing with the Squalo, Wyman’s car-restoration commission, and a raid-and-escape activity at the PTT YOUNGIN$ compound. The latter two appear as Ultimate extras. Mission counts, reward rates and full activity rules are not specified.

Paradise Garage and Shore Court each list a weapon locker and secure storage for stolen goods to be fenced. These are specific edition facilities, not proof of a universal property-purchase or economy system.

Rockstar says Ultimate bonuses appear across the story’s chapters, and puts the Cheetah later in the game. The extras should not be read as an inventory available immediately at the start.

Wyman’s Classic Car Collection commission asks players to find abandoned classics and unfinished project cars, then restore them. It is described within the Ultimate collection.

The PTT YOUNGIN$ Illegal Goods Store is described as a compound raid followed by an escape with special items and contraband. It appears in the Ultimate collection.

The Ultimate collection’s Shitzu Squalo is docked at Washington Beach and described for fishing in Gambit Bay. Its package also includes a weapons crate.

Paradise Garage in Watson Bay is part of the Ultimate description. Shore Court near Ocean Beach belongs to the separate Vintage pack. Both list weapon lockers and storage for stolen goods intended for fencing.

The ’95 Grotti Cheetah is supplied with a special livery later in the story. Rockstar also says Ultimate bonuses appear across the story’s chapters.

A supplied car and a restoration commission offer different reasons to return to a garage. The Cheetah changes what a player receives later in the story; Wyman’s commission describes something to find and work on. That distinction helps explain the collection without guessing how long either addition lasts or how rewarding it feels.

GamesRadar+ writer Oscar Taylor-Kent describes physically carrying loot bags during shown robbery sequences, including one-handed shooting while carrying them. This is his September 1 report, not our own gameplay test.

Taylor-Kent also describes changing and burning vehicles during a story-mission escape while police continue the hunt. That example does not establish universal open-world pursuit rules.

Sony advertises controller feedback, trigger resistance, 3D audio, SSD loading and speaker effects, and lists PS5 Pro support. Resolution, frame rate and console-to-console comparisons are not measured here.
