Sian (and the side quests that open here)

Reveal solution / story details

CGInferno's Chapter 7 video opens with a fight against Aether (Lv.46, 200,000 HP on the info card) and two adds while the HUD still reads 'Chapter 6 - Tranquility' and 'Search for clues to the Dark Crystal'. The first Chapter 7 objective is 'Gather information in Sian'.

Before following it, CGInferno takes two side quests: 'The Shield of the Weak', in which Charlotte appears (it includes a fight against a large mechanical construct and ends with a pop-up listing 'Charlotte x1' and 'Magicite Cryst x1'), and 'The Twin Titleholders'. The objective changes to 'Go to Mt. Reizan' after a scene in Sian with Ayaka, and a third side quest, 'The Admirable Apprentice', is taken after that. The video doesn't show whether any of them are required.

  1. Gather information in Sian; the objective moves on after a scene with Ayaka.

Boss weaknesses and what to watch for

Reveal solution / story details

From NiaMeowDB's datamine (Community-reported; built from the game's files, no version stated), which lists the Lightning element as Thunder.

Aether (Lv.46): weak to Ice, immune to Wind, summons minions. Ignis (Lv.47, 205,000 HP): weak to Water, takes half damage from Fire, and grows angrier when hit, most of all with Water. Alluvion (Lv.48, 210,000 HP): weak to Thunder, immune to Water, with First Strike and a special skill that grows with each Prism Core.

Tellus (Lv.49): weak to Wind, takes half damage from Earth, counterattacks when its rules of engagement are broken. Umbra (Lv.50, 260,000 HP): weak to Light and takes half damage from Dark, but it counters Light attacks and charges power when it takes any other damage, so every hit has a cost.
