Evacuation Zone Mysterious Dog: find and help her

The short answer

There is a Mysterious Dog encounter in the Evacuation Zone. Reveal the route when you want the exact rooftop, toy and return steps. This guide covers one encounter only.

Before you start

  • Access to the Evacuation Zone and the movement that lets Dylan reach and adhere to inverted rooftops. If the surface is out of reach, return after gaining more traversal abilities.
  • Evidence: two independently recorded gameplay videos and two written route checks, reviewed September 25, 2026. Exact game builds are unknown; Kingy has not played this encounter.

Before revealing the location

If you want to search unaided, watch for a pawprint marker and listen for barking. The roof, toy and return path stay concealed below.

The selected video is also behind a second reveal and loads only if you choose to play it.

Reveal the Evacuation Zone roof and toy route Reveal solution / story details

Both recordings show the red-lit encounter, nearby roof and return. Written guides use different camera-relative directions for the same folded geometry, so follow the paired signs and visible roof rather than a compass bearing after gravity shifts.

  1. Open the Evacuation Zone map northeast of the Sinkhole. Find the dog marker near the folded, red-lit rooftops between the Main Street and Railway Station dimensional doors. Reach the roof and speak to the dog beside her empty bed.
  2. From the dog, look toward the pair of Chowrap dog-food signs on the neighboring building. The blue-green dragon toy is on the lit roof across the gap, above the signs.
  3. Use the nearby raised roof to gain height, then attach to the inverted surface and cross to the toy. Pick it up. The footage shows a short return across the same folded-roof area while carrying it; if an ability is unavailable with the toy in hand, use the adjacent ledges and walkable surfaces instead.
  4. Return to the red-lit roof and place the toy in the dog’s bed. Wait for the interaction to finish.

Confirm this encounter is complete Reveal solution / story details

This confirms progress for the Evacuation Zone dog, not completion of the wider dog activity or its trophy.

  1. Look for the quest-log update after placing the toy in the bed. The 100% Guides chapter shows that update at the end of this encounter.
  2. If the log does not change, confirm that the toy was placed in the bed and the interaction ended. The checked recordings do not establish a fix for a persistent progression bug.

Recording and route limits

The two video excerpts were checked through selected playback frames, not a full uninterrupted review. Their platforms and exact game builds are unknown.

No claim is made about other dog locations, missability, or current-patch behavior across every platform.
