The two recordings show the crossing, pickup and return; GamesRadar and Destructoid independently agree on the opposite-roof placement. Follow the actual roof geometry if the camera angle or objective marker differs on your build.
- Go to western Downtown’s Gravity Town area. Search the southern rooftop below the early Power Core puzzle for the Mysterious Dog. Use the opening map and rooftop approach in the video if the area name alone is not enough.
- Talk to the dog and look across to the slightly lower roof beside it. The dog-food advertisement on the side of that building helps identify the correct roof.
- Cross to that roof. Find the blue-green dragon toy near the stairwell door and pick it up.
- Return across the gap to the dog and place the toy in her bed. Wait for the interaction to finish before leaving.

Helping this one dog advances a broader dog activity. It does not by itself establish a trophy or complete every dog location.
- Check the on-screen completion notice or quest log after placing the toy. In the Postmode recording, “Every Dog Has Her Day” records the Downtown dog as helped.
- If the log has not updated, return to the bed and make sure the placement interaction completed. The recordings do not demonstrate a separate bug fix if it still fails.
Recording and route limits
The selected clip was checked at sampled playback frames, not by an uninterrupted full-interval review. The alternate PS5 Pro recording corroborates the same interaction. Neither establishes the current patch across all platforms.
