The short answer
The developer announced that the Steam demo would go offline on September 8, 2026. Do not rely on older download instructions as evidence of current access. The full game is scheduled for October 13. Kingy has not tested whether a previously installed demo can still launch.
Use the latest availability statement
The September 4 development update supersedes the earlier demo invitations. An old trailer, store button or cached guide can outlive its access window. Check current official news rather than treating a summer announcement as a working installation route.

Why demo guides need a fresh check
The developer describes the demo chapters as bespoke versions and says the full game has received balancing, fixes and optimization work. Demo recordings remain useful historical evidence, but their numbers and routes should keep that label.

Will demo progress carry over?
