The short answer
Start with the characters and skills available in your save. Give the party a recovery plan, a reliable attack and a fallback when an action is unavailable; then check gear and supplies before the encounter.
Before you start
- A save before the encounter
- Current character menus available
Use the confirmed character strengths
| Character | Confirmed orientation | Preparation use |
|---|---|---|
| Estelle | Senior bracer and central protagonist. | Check her current unlocked skills; keep a role flexible around your companions. |
| Anelace | Sword practitioner of Eight Leaves One Blade. | Review her actual attack range and costs during the training arc. |
| Scherazard | Whip fighting and orbal Arts. | Inspect both physical and spell options when she is available. |
| Olivier | Orbal gun and Arts. | Consider range and spell coverage when he is in your party. |
Diagnose the failed attempt
- Write down what ended the attempt: no recovery, an unavailable skill, poor reach or exhausted resources.
- Inspect the affected character’s equipment, Quartz and current Arts or Crafts.
- Change one part of the setup and preserve a save before retrying.
- Keep a recovery option available instead of assuming damage will finish the encounter before the enemy acts.

What this preparation page does not establish
No fixed level target, boss HP, weakness chart, guaranteed rotation or complete recruitment schedule is verified here. The official character profiles describe identities and general strengths, not a universal tier list.
For a missing S-Craft after Kurt on Steam, apply the published demo fix before treating the problem as a build mistake.
