The short answer
Quartz fitted into a character’s Tactical Orbment improve abilities and unlock Arts. The new model has seven slots; enhancing slots permits better Quartz. Use the current menu’s requirements to diagnose a missing spell.
Before you start
- Access to the party and Orbment menus
- Quartz and enhancement resources currently available in your save
Build around a specific need
Seven slots describe the model’s capacity; this does not mean every slot or top-tier Quartz is usable immediately. A copied loadout can fail when its slot requirements have not been met.
- Pick one role you need: recovery, damage or support.
- Read the Arts currently available to that character and compare the Quartz you own.
- If a Quartz cannot be fitted, inspect the slot’s enhancement requirement.
- After any change, recheck the Arts list before entering the next battle.

Kingy’s recommendation: avoid spending all available resources evenly just to fill a template. Improve the character or capability that is failing in your current encounter, then test that change. Keep enough recovery supplies for the next objective.
Current remake Arts recipes, exact elemental totals, slot prices and optimal configurations are not yet verified here. A named build from the 2006 game is not a substitute for the values shown in this demo.
