The short answer
Official material establishes sword-focused combat, a bow interaction, cosmetic Sword Appearance items and an equipment-enhancement menu. It does not provide a complete weapon roster, stats, material costs or unlock order.
What the official material actually shows
Capcom presents the game as sword-fighting action and lists Oni Armament among the techniques available in the PS5 demo. The August director interview separately describes adaptive-trigger resistance when drawing a bowstring.
A named technique and a controller interaction do not establish two inventory records. Kingy therefore does not assign weapon names, types, stats or acquisition routes from those passages.

Sword Appearance items are cosmetic claims
The June preorder description names Sword Appearance: Sealed Curse and says Sword Appearance items customize the sword's appearance. It does not claim a damage, upgrade or progression effect.

Equipment enhancement exists, but the route is incomplete
Nintendo's publisher-provided Red Souls I instructions place Enhance Equipment at the Spirit Mirror and say access unlocks with story progress. They do not map a weapon roster, enhancement tree, cost table or exact unlock objective.

What still needs current gameplay evidence
Weapon names, inventory categories, base stats, material costs, enhancement caps, acquisition routes and missable rules remain unverified. Capture the item screen and build before adding a row.
