Prepare one threshold at a time
The developer describes increasing difficulty and rewards, including equipment, shop upgrades, decorations and cosmetics. The exact gold sequence, reward mapping and optimal loadout are not verified here.
- Check that the main story is complete and the Infinite Endless Vault challenge is available.
- Read the required gold for your current threshold in the game and record it before the run.
- Plan to meet that target in a single attempt. Several unsuccessful trips cannot be assumed to accumulate toward it.
- After the attempt, check whether the threshold advanced or reset before planning the next one.

If a threshold resets
A reset after failing to meet the target is part of the documented rule. A crash or a stuck encounter is a different problem: record your platform, installed version and what happened, then check the platform-fixes guide. The announcement does not promise restoration of a lost run.
Check your selected difficulty before retrying. Hardcore mode is a separate version 1.0 option whose death penalty starts the whole journey over. Do not treat that penalty as the normal threshold-reset rule.
