The short answer
Complete Bloblet challenges in dungeons to earn their currency, exchange it for companions at Zane Jane in Tresna, then equip a Bloblet for a shop run. Its shop effect lasts until you close the shop. Version 1.0 adds another Bloblet slot at Shop Level 5.
From challenge reward to shop effect
The update describes bonuses such as relic value and customer tips. It does not provide a complete companion list, a universal adoption price or a best companion ranking. Check the offer and effect in your current build.
- Complete a Bloblet challenge during a dungeon run to earn the companion currency.
- Back in Tresna, visit the PetSeller, Zane Jane, and use that currency to adopt an available Bloblet.
- Equip the adopted Bloblet for the shop run. Adoption alone is not the documented equip step.
- Check its stated effect before opening for business, then remember that the effect ends when the shop closes.

What Shop Level 5 adds
Version 1.0 adds an extra Bloblet slot and a cosmetic placement slot at Shop Level 5. If you are following a guide capped at the Blob-Life update’s Shop Level 4, its slot information may be out of date. Exact upgrade cost and prerequisite route are not verified in this edition.

When the bonus seems absent
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Companion is adopted and equipped | The official procedure includes both actions |
| A shop run is active | The documented effect applies during that run |
| The shop has since closed | The effect lasts until closing |
| The effect text matches the result you expect | A tip effect and a relic-value effect are different benefits |

Use the price hints you have learned
The same update introduced price-range feedback when the required surrounding ranges are known. A question mark means that knowledge is missing; it is not a confirmed price recommendation. Use the game’s current feedback when checking a companion’s effect instead of importing a fixed price from an older database.
